Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PdfMaster (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Aghani Labs ("we", "our", or "us"). We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

PdfMaster is a mobile application that provides a suite of PDF processing tools, including but not limited to:

• Merge, split, and organize PDF files
• Compress PDFs to reduce file size
• Add page numbers, watermarks, and signatures
• Convert PDFs to images
• Extract text from PDFs
• Search within PDF content
• Lock and unlock PDFs with passwords
• Scan documents using the device camera
• Edit PDF metadata
• Rotate and remove pages

All processing is performed locally on your device. We do not operate any backend servers for PDF processing.

3. License to Use the App

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal or commercial purposes on devices you own or control.

You may not:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its related systems
• Use the App to process documents that contain illegal content, malware, or material that infringes on third-party rights
• Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the App
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App

4. User Content and Responsibility

The App allows you to process PDF files and other content ("User Content"). You retain all rights to your User Content. You are solely responsible for the User Content you process through the App, including:

• Ensuring you have the legal right to process, modify, or share the User Content
• Ensuring the User Content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
• Ensuring the User Content does not contain illegal, defamatory, or harmful material

We do not access, view, or process your User Content on any server. All processing is local on your device. We have no knowledge of or responsibility for the content of the documents you process.

5. App Lock and Security

The App offers an optional 6-digit PIN App Lock feature. If you enable this feature:

• Your PIN is stored locally on your device using hardware-backed encryption (Android Keystore)
• We do not have access to your PIN and cannot recover it if forgotten
• If you forget your PIN, you can reset the App Lock, which will clear your stored PIN but not your processed files
• You are responsible for keeping your device secure to prevent unauthorized access to the App

6. Advertisements

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Ads are shown in designated areas of the App (banner ads and occasional interstitial ads)
• AdMob may collect information as described in our Privacy Policy
• You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings or Google Ads Settings
• We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, graphics, logo, and content (excluding User Content and third-party libraries), is owned by Aghani Labs and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The App uses the following open-source libraries, each with its own license:

• Flutter SDK — BSD License
• Syncfusion Flutter PDF — Syncfusion Community License (free for individuals and companies with less than $1M annual revenue)
• Google Mobile Ads SDK — Apache 2.0
• flutter_secure_storage — BSD License
• shared_preferences — BSD License
• file_picker — MIT License
• share_plus — BSD License
• image — Apache 2.0
• And other packages as listed in the app's About section

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL AGHANI LABS, ITS DEVELOPERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the App
• Damages resulting from any conduct or content of any third party on or through the App
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, for using the App (which is $0, as the App is free).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Aghani Labs and its developers, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights
• Any claim that your User Content caused damage to a third party

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms
• Request by law enforcement or government agencies
• Discontinuation of the App or any part thereof
• Technical or security issues

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

12. Changes to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of your jurisdiction.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, such provision shall be severed from these Terms. The invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity, legality, or enforceability of the remaining provisions.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Aghani Labs regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
